Mission Statement:
The Smallwood Civic Association is comprised of homeowners who reside either seasonally or year round in "Smallwood" a hamlet of the Town of Bethel, County of Sullivan, State of New York.
The Association takes an active part in many recreational and civic affairs. Once construction is completed, our lodge home will be a gathering place for functions. This facility is surrounded by an established playground, baseball field, tennis, basketball, bocci and handball courts. Our private lake with swimming beach and boat ramp is available to Association members at an additional cost.
As a group we inquire into and seek to improve police, fire, sanitation, street lighting and other services rendered, or which may be rendered, to the community.
The Association board is comprised of 13 elected members who volunteer their time and efforts. Assistance from Association members is always in demand for various projects, often led by subcommittee, for the purposes of maintaining and improving our shared resources in a cost effective manner.
